February 1, 2008, I opened officially this blog. I scored a introductory message and I published a series of articles (16) that were just copy and paste the minutes of meetings posted previously posted on Grenoble Poker.

Throughout the year, I tried to share my journey through several articles. I could show my progress, difficult times, the good-runs, etc. ... All that to achieve this 98th post I published today.

few things to say, except thank again once all those who read me and tell me about their comments. My progress owes much to these little debates with friends who have created players around my writings and that allowed me to question, refine my game, to better respond to the shots go out, etc. ...

Yet one of the points I managed to improve in recent months: not to worry if my opponent put myself through a bad beat on a 80-20 or a 70-30. But recently, after only 2 or 3 bad beats on the NL100 (KK fart 2 times respectively and AKo AQo carpet bb preflop stack for 150-200 employees), I'm pissed and I went on tilt. I lost almost 2 caves in quick succession just after that. 2 cellars and lose on a full tilt, it had not happened for a while!
Seeing that I became nervous more easily than before, I tried to find explanations. I called into quastion and I think it is now clear that related to my bankroll management. Lack of open tables on NL50 Ongame Network, I venture very often on the NL100. But I have not sufficient bankroll to absorb the variac on these tables. Suddenly, the bad beats are a lot more damage on the bankroll.

For example, imagine that I play on NL50 with about $ 3000 of BR (60 wineries). Let's say I lose a bad beat in a 200bb ($ 100), followed by another bad beat to 100bb ($ 50). I find myself on tilt and I lost 3 more wineries ($ 150). I lost 6 wineries $ 300, it still represents 10% of my bankroll but it's still reasonable. recalculate the same thing playing on instead of NL100 NL50. result: loss of $ 600 (6 cellars cellars or 12 NL100 NL50): 20% of my bankroll . This becomes more problematic.

The reason for my frustration, my nervousness and my dirrect tilt is related to the percentage of my bankroll I lost on a bad beat. I'm absolutely back on NL50 (although I sometimes go back to PS if there is no place on TG) and does go on until I NL100 adequate bankroll ($ 6,000 or 60 wineries ).
